Deciding on the extracts [and with regard to copyright issues], the 'publishing' of the extracts may be erratic until we have clarification of what we may or may not 'publish'.
At present, we have been granted premission by the Methodist Church to upload any material published by the Methodist Church: we are waiting for guidance regarding songs from other hymn / worship books, but these are unavailable at present, and coded in this colour.
As noted in the page for 'Visiting Preachers' we mainly use Singing the Faith; Hymns and Psalms; [ the Methodist Hymn Book, and the School Hymn Book ~ ancient Methodist publications] ; The Source and Songs of Fellowship 1,2,3 &4.
Under the CCLI licences we hold, we are permitted to record our worship and give a copy to whoever requests one, [although some preachers have expressed a wish not to be recorded]. This does not permit the 'publishing' of the recording onto our website: seemingly this comes under the Performing Rights Society, classed as 'cover versions' of the hymns / songs. If you would like a copy of the Higherland act of public worship, please email your request, and we will send it to you. If you have specialist knowledge of this issue, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please feel free to offer suggestions for improvement
